Psychosexual Healing Beyond Pharmaceuticals: A Retreat for Male Mental Health Specialists

Fall 2010, San Francisco Bay Area, CA

This weekend retreat will explore the use of ecstatic, embodied awareness to address psychosexual dysfunctions in male patients with inhibited excitation or dysfunction ( ICD-9 302.7). A review of anatomical and physiological states is provided, followed by a somatic practicum addressing the following issues:

* Recovery from Pain, Trauma, Post-Prostatectomy Sensation Loss

* Self-Pleasure Enhancement, Sensate Focus

*Sexual Performance/Intimacy Issues

A variety of healing techniques , including somatic, eroto-therapeutic and cognitive approaches, will be demonstrated.
